The Mirka backing pads for sanding machines are designed to meet the challenges set when performing demanding sanding operations. Mirka has developed backing pads for both sanding with traditional abrasives and for sanding dust-free with Mirka's Net Sanding dust extraction system. In order to achieve the best performance and a good sanding result, it is important to combine the right sander with the right accessories.

The New Mirka® Multifit Backup Pad is specifically designed for use with 6” Galaxy Multifit discs. Optimized for superior dust extraction during primer sanding, it’s ideal for collision repair and marine applications. The backing pad comes with a custom Multifit Pad Saver, which acts as a protective layer between the backing pad and the sanding disc. The pad saver extends the life of the backing pad by preventing wear and tear during continuous, aggressive sanding.
