The Shark HD544® offers true 4ft x 4ft machining capacity in an open base platform. The XYZ travel of 50” x 50” x 7” is built with heavy duty industrial components supporting rapid movement up to 400 inches per minute.

The Shark HD544® is fully compatible with Next Wave CNC’s extensive product line of accessories, such as laser, 4th axis, digitizer, and more; optimize your workshop with our largest machine yet. The Shark HD544® is made in USA, comes with a two-year warranty, and includes U.S. based technical support.

The Shark HD544® is ready to assemble and mounts to your minimum recommended 64” x 64” table (not included). The Shark HD544® includes a 3hp water cooled spindle, 10.1” color pendant controller, and features a closed loop system for higher accuracy, robust ultra-precision lead screws on all axes, and our patented Virtual Zero Unlimited software.

The Shark HD544® offers two control options.

1. Design your project using VCarve Pro software (available separately). Once the design is ready, transfer it to a USB drive. Plug the USB drive directly into the LCD pendant. This pendant features a convenient touch screen interface that eliminates the need for a computer to control the CNC in your shop.
2. For more control interactivity you can run the Shark HD544® from your computer with the Ready2Control program. This lets you use the exclusive patented Virtual Zero Unlimited® program. Our program will adjust your design to fit curves and angles that would be impossible on other brands of machines.

• Virtual Zero Unlimited, this patented Next Wave CNC exclusive software allows you to map the surface of your material by taking an unlimited number of reference points. The program then uses these points to auto-adjust the G-code to conform to the actual surface of your material. This eliminates problems caused by a warped or bowed workpiece and allows you to maintain a constant cutting depth on projects that other machines would not be able to handle.
