M5 Star Grip Knob Set for TPG Adapters

If a tool-less attachment of TPG Adapters to your guide rails is preferred, as some customers have told us, these optional M5 Star Grip Knobs can be used in most situations. Note that if you are using a TS55 track saw with these knobs, plunge cuts deeper than 1.5 inches (38mm) will require switching back to the standard M5 flathead screws to avoid interference with the TS55 track saw motor housing and/or batteries. We have tested these knobs with the TS75 EQ and have confirmed these knobs don't interfere, even on full plunge cuts. A friendly customer also confirmed that his Makita XPS01PTJ cordless track saw achieved nearly 46mm of cut depth before touching the knobs; a loss of 5mm in total cut depth. If you are using another track saw, verify you have at least 11/16" (~18mm) of clearance between the top of the TPG Adapter and the bottom of your track saw motor housing when fully plunged.
